On Wednesdays Eric works from home, so this has become our go-to Disney date night. We typically keep it pretty low key and go to a theme park, hit an attraction (or two) and get a drink (we save dinner dates for the weekend when we can stay out later and not feel the pressure to go to bed early... not that we go to bed early, we actually stay up WAY too late, HAHA!).
Our favorite park for a week night outing is definitely Hollywood Studios. Not only is it super close to where we live (12 min away), but it also is just the right size for a quick adventure. We usually get a fast pass or two (ALWAYS the same rides… Star Tours and or Toy Story Mania). And then end the night with a stop at Baseline Taphouse, where we get our absolute fave drink... The California Sunset (so yummy and the perfect way to end a perfect date night).
Weeknight date outfits usually consist of jeans (or shorts - depending on the weather; maybe even a causual dress), a cute top and of course mouse ears! When we head to Hollywood Studios, I am usually ALWAYS wearing one of these pairs of ears (usually depends what we will be doing or what we got a Fast Pass for)!
Anytime we will be heading into Toy Story Land, I wear one of these stellar pairs (below)! The Aliens are 100% transparent and make for some cool photos (plus they get a TON of attention)! The Space Ranger ears feature both wood and acrylic and make look pretty awesome as the sun and bright lights reflect through them!
Sometimes, when I'm feeling less galactic and more country, I will wear these Woody inspired ears (below). They're made from wood and feature some super intricate laser engraved detailing.
And if we are just hiting up Star Tours, I cannot go wrong wearing this pair (designed by Eric - seen in the above photo)! And I of course, ALWAYS match my bow to my outfit (FYI, the bows are interchangeable, as are the ears)! Shop them all on our site, now!
