Hi, friends! It's me, Amanda! And guess what?! I'm back! It's been awhile since I last posted (don't know how THAT much time has come and passed). As you might have imagined, a lot has happened in the time that I was away... the parks have closed (and then a few months later they reopened again), masks are the norm, social distancing is a way of life, and most recent... Taylor Swift released an EPIC folk album that is amazing!
Things by no means are back to normal. We’ve all just simply learned to deal with how the world has had to evolve in order to fight the virus that is COVID-19. This is life during a pandemic. Lots of Zoom calls, virtual game nights, freshly baked banana bread (lost track of how many loaves I’ve made... but, oh, how I love it! I make my mom's recipe and it is AMAZING!), tons of movies watched (shows binged... like When Calls the Heart... THAT show has my heart!), many long walks/runs (it's good to get fresh air, clear your head and practice good heart health), and of course, golf (not for me… but Eric)!
Since I last posted (ALL of those many months ago), quite a bit has happened/changed...and not just with the world, but with our business as well. We are still making laser cut wood ears and products! I don’t think we’ll ever stop creating! However, I recently relaunched our Etsy shop! The focus of the Etsy store more design oriented (I am a graphic designer, afterall)!
The newly revamped Etsy storefront is a place for me to sell digital art prints, graphics and patterns, in addition to the wooden products that we are known for. Plus, I’ll be adding some surprise products every so often (like greeting cards)!
Relaunching the Etsy shop has been fun and has allowed me to be creative in a completely different way. I’ve been wanting to do this (branch out and offer more design focused products) for a while, but wanted to keep it separate from the website for the time being. Who knows, maybe in the future we will combine everything into one shop/site?! But for the time being… I like that the Etsy store is very curated. If you see me mention Happy Magic Design Shop, that’s in reference to my design products (graphics, patterns, digital files) that you can find there (on Etsy).
So, that was the BIG news! Etsy shop has been relaunched and recently revamped! It’s still in the early stages… meaning, not everything is listed (that will probably take me quite a while)! But I’d love it if you would check it out! https://www.etsy.com/shop/HappyMagicCo
